POSITION SUMMARY

District Sales Managers develop working partnerships with select dental practices and their related team
members to understand their needs, introduce them to the Astra Tech system, and support their ongoing clinical
and business needs. 
 
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Meet or exceed district sales forecast quotas.
-Make professional presentations of Astra Tech products, features & benefits. 
-Understand and use literature and clinical studies effectively.
-Develop and use sales call process including:
-Feature and benefit presentation
-Consultative selling / probing
-Active listening
-Handling objections
-Closing
-Develop basic knowledge of competitive products / perceived features & benefits
-Conduct regular key account visits.
-Develop and support new accounts.
-Develop, plan and present group presentations.
-Participate in trade shows.
-Develop district business plans and budgets as requested.
 
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
-Excellent communication and presentation skills.
-Ability to work independently and as a supportive team member.
-Self motivated and goal orientated. 
-Strong time and territory management skills. 
 
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
-Degree in business, science or engineering preferred.
-Minimum of 2 years prior sales or technical experience.
-Completed formal training program.
